What is Title I?

Title 1 is an intervention program in conjunction with MTSS (Multi-Tiered Support System). The small group sessions are 30 minutes of instruction designed to accelerate the students learning so he/she can succeed in the regular classroom environment. This program is in addition to the grade level instruction that all children receive in reading and math. The small group sessions are in conjunction with enrichment reading or math in the regular classrooms. We administer school-wide reading and math assessments to determine which students qualify for these programs in addition to consulting with parents and the classroom teacher.
